Things you can carry: You can easily store a decent amount of clothing and some food. a lightweight sleeping bag. or a bivvy bag/lightweight fly. The bungee cords on the top are great for stowing an outer layer or things you need quick access to.
Mounting locations: Mounts under the saddle with hook and loop straps that attach to the saddle rails and seat post. Not recommended for use with dropper posts.

Pros: Convenient way to carry a whole bunch of stuff.
Cons: Some small-framed 29ers may not have enough rear wheel clearance for the bag to fit. Practice getting back over the saddle a few times before you hit the trails as you don’t want to suddenly find that the bag is in the way on that first steep fire trail descent.
