Description

Troy Lee Designs has become synonymous with high-end. premium helmets. Their full-face models have been sought after for years and can be seen on podiums all over the world. The A1 continues this legacy with their open face helmets.

Who’s this item for: This helmet is definitely geared more towards Enduro style riding it is also suitable for all-around trail riding.

Construction: Polycarbonate shell moulded with EPS liner. Extends downs the sides and back of the head for more coverage.

Rotational liner: This is the more affordable non-MIPS version of this helmet. See the link below to view the MIPS version. Note that none of the Drone colourways are available with MIPS.

Straps: The A1 uses adjustable cam-lock strap dividers so you’ll be able to tweak them to get it just right to suit your head.

Retention System: There is a dial-type micro-adjust retention system with 3-point vertical positioning but TLD doesn’t seem to have any fancy names for it.

Ventilation: Ventilation is taken care of with 8 inlet and 8 exhaust vents that are designed to pull the cool air in while ejecting the warm air out.

Padding: The comfort is second to none. thanks in part to a super soft. removable and washable. single piece liner that is made from anti-microbial moisture-wicking material.

Visor: The visor is adjustable and uses anodised aluminium hardware.

Weight: Approx 344 grams for the M/L version.

Pros: These helmets look great on everyone and the luscious padding makes them a very comfortable helmet.

Cons: This version doesn’t feature the MIPS liner. See the link to the MIPS version below.
