Thule ProRide Squarebar Adapter

Thule’s ProRide Square Bar Adapter allows you to adapt the Thule ProRide roof-mounted bike carrier to square or larger round or oval-shaped roof racks that don’t have the available T-Slot at the top. It does this by replacing the 3 bolts that insert into the T-Slot of some Thule roof bars. with metal straps that attach through the ProRide and wrap around under the roof bars and provide a new. longer bolt that pulls the strap tight. This kit allows you to still use the quick release capabilities of the ProRide. although you do need to be a little careful as the metal ‘straps’ do swing open and can touch the roof of your vehicle.

The kit contains all the necessary components to mount one ProRide to your roof racks.

This kit is not required if you plan to mount the Thule ProRide to a set of Thule Wingbar. Wingbar Evo. Aerobar or Slidebar roof bars.
