Description
Praxis has been making high precision. high-performance bottom brackets for years and this is no exception.
The M30 family of bottom brackets have a 30mm drive bearing and a 28mm non-drive bearing for compatibility with Praxis M30 Based Cranks.
Style: The bearings are pressed directly into the BB shell. The outer bearing race is also the outer press-fit surface.
Shell Width: This BB is used for many different frame types that have a 41mm Diameter:
- BB86 (86.5mm Width) Road BMX
- BB90 (89.5mm Width) MTB
- BB92 (92mm Width) MTB
- BB104.5mm Width DH MTB
- BB107mm Width DH MTB
Spindle Size (Diameter): 30mm drive side. 28mm non-drive side.
Bearing Style: Unique steel cartridge bearing design in which the outer bearing race is also the outer press-fit surface.
Bearing cup material: The large 30mm spindle means that there is no room for bearing cups with a 41mm press-fit BB shell. This design presses the bearings directly into the BB shell with the aid of a retaining compound.
Tools Needed: Bottom bracket bearing press required for installation. Park Tool BBT-30.4 required for bearing removal.
Crank compatibility: Praxis M30 based cranks only.
