Sure. you can find a lighter stem. But these were born in Squamish BC. a place dominated by DH bikes and direct mount stems. LoamLab could have reduced the stack height. reduced the steerer bolt size. choked the neck profile. narrowed the clamp width. and split the faceplate in two.
