Description
The Leatt Airflex pads make use of a 3D-shaped impact gel to provide CE certified impact protection in a minimalistic form factor that does not restrict movement. These are a slip-on pad that will stay put and save your skin if (when) you crash.
Who’s this item for: Anyone wanting a low-profile yet effective elbow pad.
Protection Style: These are a slip-on pad with 3D-shaped impact gel padding. They will be soft and pliable but still provide very effective protection in the event of a crash.
Materials: The pad makes use of anti-odour MoistureCool and Airmesh wicking fabrics (pretty much fancy lycra and mesh fabric) with silicone grippers on the cuffs. The pads are super slim 3D moulded AirFlex gel.
Closure or Slip-on: These are a slip-on style pad. They are designed to have a snug fit to prevent them from slipping down while you’re riding so take some care when putting them on. Don’t just yank them over your massive guns or you may end up popping the stitching or tearing the fabric.
Length of elbow pad: Leatt don’t state the exact dimensions but these pads should cover part of the bicep and most of the forearm.
Protection level: These are CE certified as offering level 1 protection. Elbow EN1621-1
Removable protective inserts for washing: The pads are one piece and the inserts are not removable for washing.
Pros: Slim. low-profile padding with CE certified level 1 impact protection.
Cons: Can’t find a fault with these. They look like they are a pretty dialled product.
