Who is this for: The DHX is for riders with a gravity focus that wants the ultimate in traction and plush suspension performance in a trail-friendly package. It’s best suited for use on hard-hitting Trail and Enduro bikes.
Spring type: This is a coil spring shock.
Compression damper adjustments:
- Independent 2 Position Open/Firm Lever
- Low-Speed Compression: 11 clicks
Rebound damper adjustments:
- Low-Speed Rebound: 16 clicks

Pros: All the traction and plushness of a coil shock in a pedal-friendly package that won’t punish you too much on the climbs.
Cons: Doesn’t have the high-speed compression and rebound adjustments found on its bigger brother. the DHX2.
